Care benefits available to Veterans

A special benefit call Aid and Attendance is available to pay for in-home care, nursing home care, or assisted living for veterans who served in wartime and their spouses. This benefit is available even to many whose incomes are above the legal limit for a VA pension. Information is available at www.va.gov.

How much does a Will cost?

An estate plan usually includes a Will, durable Power of Attorney, Living Will and Health Care Power of Attorney. Additionally, an estate plan includes advice about how to title assets to avoid Probate. The typical fee for a basic estate plan is usually $325.00 for a single person and $450.00 for a married couple. When a trust is added, the cost can range from $700.00 to $1,800.00.
